Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, is a vibrant economic and cultural center in the historic Podillia region, situated along the Southern Bug River. With a rich Ukrainian heritage and a strong tradition of commerce, the city brings new opportunities for international exchange to Tampa.

Established in September 2026, the Tampa–Khmelnytskyi Friendship City partnership encourages cooperation in culture, education, economic development, healthcare, and humanitarian initiatives. Through Tampa Sister Cities, this relationship seeks to connect people, strengthen mutual understanding, and build lasting friendships between our communities.
