DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the 75th Israel Independence Day Festival\n Sunday\, April 30at the Shanna & Bryan Glazer JCC.522 N. Howard Ave.\, Tampa\, FL 33606 \nThe day will start with an author luncheon featuring Andrew Lawler\, Under Jerusalem: The Buried History of the World’s Most Contested City\, at noon and then will continue with Israeli films Karaoke and The Jews and The Blues at 1:30 and 4:00 PM. Before the 4:00 film\, the Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival will honor Sara Golding Scher and Loni Shelef with the prestigious film festival STARR AWARD. \nThe festival will include fun activities for the entire family with DJs playing live music\, delicious Kosher food tents\, a teen/kids’ zone with carnival activities and bounce houses\, and fantastic shopping opportunities in the Shuk at 7:00 PM. The event will conclude with the featured spotlight event – the professional Israeli Dance troupe “Re-vital.” \nIt is FREE to attend the festival. However\, on-site priority parking is $5 per vehicle. \nOther costs include the teen/kids’ wristband for $5\, and food\, beverages\, and Shuk purchases will have varying prices. \n Learn More Here
